Some parts impressed, others didn't

The location was fantastic, with fine views and an helpful staff. We loved the charming, spacious room and the good breakfast with fresh produce from their bio garden.

Transportation was a hassle. You'll definitely need a car to navigate the area, as walking was quite difficult and taxi costs were high.

Lovely hotel with stunning views. Beautiful pool area. Friendly staff. Great location perfect for day trips around the Costa Smeralda. Great local restaurants within walking distance.

Really good staff hospitality.

We found the cleanliness lacking. Our towels had an odd smell. The room itself felt outdated and humid, not meeting the expectations set by pictures from the website.

The rooms are cosy and fabulous, equipped with an iron and a hair dryer. The location is excellent, 10 minutes' walk to Marina di Porto Cervo...

Stunning and magnificent location in very comfortable area, short walk to both the Marina as well as restaurants nearby. Very very good breakfast with lovely views and hot bacon, as example, respectful employees. Free parking on site provided.

Rather small room.

The pool area was gorgeous with fine views. We enjoyed lazy afternoons soaking up the sun and sipping cocktails. The vibe was super chill, and seeing the sunset over the hills was lovely.

Wonderful hotel with a great view over Porto Cervo marina. Very good breakfast every morning by the pool! Would recommend a car to get to the nice beaches and restaurants close by.

Excellent reception staff, their local knowledge and tips for restaurants was top notch....1) Family run pizzaria, 2)the best Tbone steak and 3) home made pasta/fish will not cost a fortune. The location on the hill above Porto Cervo was excellent.. nice views to the east and also, on a clear day, the snow covered peaks of Corsica.

The restaurant for breakfast was not double glazed, therefore a bit cold and windy.. even for the end of october.

Fine views from the room. Breakfast options limited and could be better. Great pool area and friendly staff. Convenient bike rentals available for exploring the area.

The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel Balocco has a great location, rooms are very well appointed - we had a beautiful Junior Suite with private terrace overlooking Porto Cervo. I recommend this hotel to families and friend groups alike. Overall an unforgettable experience. Thank you!

Very friendly hotel where nothing seems too much trouble for the staff.Overall the hotel was well designed. I particuarly like the unique Sardinian decor and furnishings.The pool area and surrounding gardens were beautifully presented and the breakfast terrace was very relaxing area to sit on a morning,excellent coffee by the way. Lunch served by the pool was of a very good standard. Our rooms were clean and our terrace had a superb view of the marina and a splendid palm and lime tree lime tree which mad it feel quite homely,sundbeds were also comfortable.The bar was also a great place to sit and relax.I Appreciated the free wifi and room safe which so many hotels still charge for. Overall we had a very happy stay and would thouroughly recommend it to anyone visting the area.

Difficult to find fault,maybe a larger tv in the room?,but it was not a problem as we hardly watched it.

Our stay was lovely! The huge balcony terrace had amazing views, and the breakfast options were abundant and delicious. the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow at times. Would definitely choose this place again!

The Hotel was perfect for our requirements, relaxing, quiet, friendly, excellent food and catering, extremely attentive staff who catered for all our needs. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a balcony and pretty views over the pool and countryside. We do not speak Italian but most of the staff all have a good knowledge of English, those that didn't tried hard and we got on very well. Highly reccomend the Brazilian restaurant 300m up the hill on the right ! All in all Perfect!

I would advise the use of a car if staying here. The roads around the Hotel do not have pedestrian paving and traffic is quite fast around the hill road. It is situated on the side of a hill providing fantastic views but if you have to walk up and down that hill into Porto Chervo it may not be pleasant in the sun.
